Friday 31 August: TOPSHAM TO BOHINJ

We get the 10.06 train from Topsham and all is on schedule. Typically we are a little too cold with the functioning air conditioning that we have so missed on trained earlier this summer. Heathrow is quiet on a Friday at the end of school holidays and we have a coffee and read. Our Lufthansa flight is only a little delayed. Brief stop off in Frankfurt where we manage to speak to Izzie and Luke who have announced their Engagement today from an idyllic Shepherd's Hut in St.Ives. We are thrilled and they are both very excited. It is raining in Ljubljana but our pre-booked taxi is waiting and we have a smooth journey to Hotel Gasperin near Lake Bohinj. We have to let ourselves in as it is late but manage to get to bed by midnight.
